The Llamedos Holiday Camp is an Interactive Immersive Discworld Experience where
Discworld fans gather to spend the weekend creating ripples that will last a lifetime.
Unlike Discworld
Conventions, the Llamedos Holiday Camp tries to bring a little part of the Discworld to life, rather than spend a
weekend talking or listening to others talking about the books.
It will happen over the weekend of Friday 6th - Sunday 8th March 2020
Take part in all the camp activities such as The Witch Trials, Talent Contest,
Unhappy Families and much much more.
This holiday will be full of fun, but only if you throw yourself into the
deep end and join in!
Whilst most holiday Camps are for families with children being front and centre, this
one is for the Trolls, Elves, Witches, Wizards, UnDead, Assassins, Fools, Mimes, Watchmen, Dwarves, Druids,
Barbarians and even the Patricians amongst you.
Terry didn't have a huge amount to say about Llamedos. In fact most of what he wrote
would have fitted onto a pamphlet entitled "Llamedos, where you need cream to protect you against the
rain"
However, he did leave enough base rules lying around in various books for us to construct an
approximation of what Llamedos is like.
Most of the Purple Coats are characters you will recognise, everyone from Rincewind to Granny Weatherwax will be there and a few bit part players that you have never heard of too such as Meghan, Rwby and Cllifford.
Your Welcome Pack contains all the things you need to make your trip to the
Llamedos Holiday Camp complete.
Everything from an activity book, to a programme of events is included with all
the little nik naks that will have Nanny Ogg happy for months!
Also in your pack you will find your all important meal tickets, Costume Ball ticket, Llanyard and name badge which you must wear at all times.
All the entertainment is included in your ticket price, so whether you choose to come for just one day, two days or all three days, you need not worry about any hidden costs.
It also includes most Arts and Craft materials (there is a small charge for one or two activities), free use of the games box and all the fun you can have together.
You will have to bring your own costumes and there may be a few items that you will need to bring to take part fully in all the activities - the main ones being a sense of fun and the ability to throw yourself into everything!
Friday Night and Saturday Night main meals are included in the cost of your ticket!
Dessert not included but available to purchase from the hotel.
The Chefs at the Llamedos Holiday Camp will be laying on holiday camp style catering
for everyone.
You will need to inform us of any allergies or intolerances and whether you are vegetarian or
vegan via the ticketing system when you book your ticket.
If you have any concerns just email us!
The food options will be uploaded to here as soon as we have them so you know in advance what the food options are.
All main meals are included in your Llamedos Holiday Camp ticket.
Sunday Night is Costume Ball Night!
Dress up as your favourite Discworld character and enjoy the ambiance of the Costume
Ball where you can dance the night away after a holiday camp meal!
We expect to see Granny Weatherwax dressed
up to the nines and Samuel Vimes as a member of the Fool's Guild!
You are only limited by your imagination!
Costume Ball ticket includes your two course meal and is part of your Llamedos Holiday Camp ticket.
You just need to bring yourself, some clothes, some costumes, a good sense of humour, a slight competive streak and enough money to cover Lunch, Auction spending, Beer and Souvenirs!
Don't forget to book yourself some accommodation too!
See our Accommodation page for details about booking a
hotel.
